In order to do this, we need to identify your tractor serial number, or we may even have to ask you to measure the engine liners if there is doubt about the serial number, or if it has been stamped over. The Leyland 704 tractor or Marshall 704 tractor should be a turbo-charged engine and should have the Leyland 4/98 engine in it. The engine will be stamped with 498TT at the beginning of the engine number, which is found underneath No 4 injector on the top of the block where the block meets the cylinder head. If you are in doubt then we can help you as we are available on the phones within working hours, or we will respond to emails as soon as we can.
