Marshall 604 Clutch Parts

When restoring your classic and vintage Marshall 604, you may have found yourself needing to replace parts of the clutch. Here at Tractor Spare Parts Ltd, we have in stock the entire genuine OEM Manufacturer, LUK, stock of clutch parts. When LUK stopped supporting these clutch units, and also the David Brown clutches which use the same castings, we purchased all of their old stock, meaning that we are the best placed to help you get back up and running with your Marshall 604 clutch. We can offer you all  of the individual components for you to rebuild your clutch and get it working again. We either offer these as individual components, or as clutch repair kits, already boxed up from LUK. This option of clutch components is perfect for customers who are overseas where shipping a complete clutch unit is expensive due to the weight of the Marshall clutch units. However, it can be difficult to set up the clutch and many people do choose to buy a complete service exchange clutch unit which is fully reconditioned and is fully set-up ready for fitting straight away into your Marshall 604 tractor. There is no need to adjust the clutch, as it should go straight in, and the only thing you should have in your pocket at the end is the three clutch retaining staples which keep the clutch closed while it is outside the tractor.
We will always recommend that you change the bearings in the clutch while you are changing the clutch unit, and by fitting the main release bearing, PTO release bearing and spigot (pilot) bearing (the inner bearing will already have been fitted in the service exchange unit) packing with grease, they are good for the life of the clutch. We also recommend that you change the brass bushes, LBS908, on the clutch fork at the same time. It is much cheaper and quicker to change these bearings and bushes while you have the clutch out, rather than doing them in a year or so time after you have replaced the 11” clutch unit in your Marshall 604 tractor.
In addition to the original LUK stock that we purchased, we have remanufactured any missing components or components which were low in stock, such as the Pressure plates, to ensure we can keep these clutches serviced and these are also available to buy immediately on our website. Where we have remanufactured Marshall 604 clutch parts they are made in the UK where possible and even if they are not then they are machined or quality control checked in-house to ensure that our customers get the safest and best product possible.
