Marshall 704 Brake Parts

When operating your Marshall 704, the brakes should be one of the highest priorities in your restoration project. It is all very well having a tractor that goes, but having one that stops is more important in our eyes. We have customers who joke about how bad their brakes are on their tractor, but when safety is involved, not just of yourself but of those around you, the braking system on your Marshall 704 tractor needs to be right. With upgraded wet brake system, compared to the earlier dry braking system of the Leyland tractors, the brakes on your Marshall tractor should be good and are easily adjusted to make work well. Quite often it is not required to replace the brake discs, but the majority of time an extra intermediate disc can remove some of the wear from the braking system and allow the brakes to work once again. If you are unsure check out the tolerances on the brake discs and the intermediate discs or get in touch if you are unsure.
Washers, springs and friction plates must all be in tip-top condition to keep everyone safe and help you work as efficiently as possible.
In order to ensure that our customers get the best possible experience, our Marshall 704 specialists work hard to build upon the original standards of our products. We re-manufactured spares to their original standards and in some cases, even improve upon them using more modern braking materials of better quality.
When performing work on the braking system, you can find everything that you need in our range, from small features like our handbrake springs to larger parts such as our brake actuators.
